Judy is a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and has recently celebrated her 26th year working with Medicare Part B. She joined the Provider Outreach and Education Department after having worked in the Electronic Media Claims (EMC) Marketing Department for nine years, where she promoted and supported the submission of electronic claims. Earlier, Judy worked as a Claims supervisor for nine years and also served in the Provider Enrollment and Reimbursement Departments.
Corrinne Ball RN, CPC
Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Consultant
Corrinne is a graduate of Southern State Community College. She received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1986 and an associate’s degree as a Registered Nurse in 2001. Corrinne has worked for National Government Services for six years, including two years in Medical Review and four years in Provider Outreach and Clinical Education. She became a Certified Professional Coder in 2009.
Anthony Carbone
E-Commerce Consultant Medicare Part B
Anthony is a Medicare Provider Outreach and Education e-Commerce consultant and has been with National Government Services for 33 years. He has held various positions within the company, and since 1993 has been in the Provider Outreach and Education Department specializing in marketing electronic billing, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) transactions, and providing customer support to the provider community.
Karen Drake RN, CPC
Part B Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Consultant
Karen graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She holds a certificate as a Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and has over 30 years of clinical experience in critical care, cardiovascular, and emergency department nursing. Karen has worked for National Government Services since 2006 when she started as a Medical Review nurse in Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to New York in 2007 and currently works as a Clinical Education consultant with Provider Outreach and Education.
Alicia Forbes, CPC
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part B
Alicia has been with National Government Services for 27 years and is currently a National Government Services Part B Provider Outreach and Education consultant. Her career with Medicare started in 1983 in claims processing. Her experience includes a variety of Medicare areas, including customer service, Medicare systems programming, and Medicare Secondary Payer and beneficiary outreach.
Emily Fox-Squairs
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Emily has been with National Government Services for ten years. She has professional experience in Part A, home health and hospice, and Part B Medicare fee-for-service operations. Throughout her career at National Government Services, Emily has held positions in congressional inquiries, provider and beneficiary customer service, quality assurance, and training. Currently, she is a Provider Outreach and Education consultant for home health and hospice.
Andrea Freibauer
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part B
Andrea has 13 years of experience with many aspects of the Medicare Program and has worked for both Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B contractors. She began her Medicare career working for Medicare Part A, first in the Customer Service Department, followed by the Beneficiary Outreach Department, and subsequently in the Provider Outreach and Education Department. She joined First Coast Service Options in 2005 as a trainer in the Medicare Part B Provider Outreach and Education Department and joined National Government Services in 2008.
Andrea graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York, with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in communications. She is currently located in the Middletown, Connecticut, office.
Christine Janiszcak
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Christine joined National Government Services in 1999. For the 12 years prior, she was employed by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Connecticut where she gained many years of Medicare experience and held the position of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) coordinator. Christine currently educates providers in MSP requirements and billing. She also educates hospitals, including acute care hospitals, cancer hospitals, critical access hospitals, inpatient psychiatric facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and long-term care hospitals in inpatient-related billing issues. Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University and is located in the Middletown, Connecticut office.
Linda M. Johnson-Larkin
Provider Outreach and Education Team Lead Medicare Part A
Linda has worked in Medicare for over 15 years. She enjoys and has experience in educating providers in a variety of subjects and currently educates providers in the fundamentals of Medicare and in using the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) for submitting Medicare claims. Linda educates skilled nursing facilities (SNF) in billing under the SNF Prospective Payment System. She also educates hospitals in outpatient miscellaneous billing and in billing under the Outpatient Prospective Payment System. In addition, Linda educates outpatient rehabilitation providers (i.e., ORFs and CORFs) and critical access hospitals in outpatient billing. Linda also has education experience in Advance Beneficiary Notice of Noncoverage and appeals. She has a paralegal degree from Widener Law and is located in the Wilmington, Delaware, office.
Lindy Lady, CPC
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part B
Lindy has 34 years of Medicare operations experience. As a multistate educator for the past ten years she has enjoyed success conducting numerous formal seminars, Webinars, and teleconferences on a broad range of Medicare topics and providing customized education programs to physician offices, local coding chapters, colleges, and universities.
Lindy is a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and is very active in a number of local coding chapters.
Don Marsh RN, CPC
Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Consultant
Don has been employed by National Government Services for the past ten years. His experience includes work in the Appeals Department, as a claims review nurse in the Medical Review Department, and most recently in Provider Outreach and Education. Don has conducted reviews in a variety of areas, including psychiatry, diagnostics, and different therapies. Don is exposed daily to Medicare regulations and to the policies of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Since October of 2006, he has been a part of the Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Department. Don educates providers in such areas as psychology and psychiatry, as well as progressive corrective action and Comprehensive Error Rate Testing, and present on admission. Prior to coming to National Government Services, Don worked in case management, hospital onsite concurrent review of medical records, and various positions in clinical settings.
Don is a registered nurse as well as a certified coder and holds memberships in the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and Toastmasters International.
Christa O’Neill
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Christa joined National Government Services in 1998 and has professional experience with both Part A and home health and hospice. Throughout her 12-year National Government Services career, she has worked with telephone and written correspondence, quality assurance, training internal departments, and is currently an educator for the provider community. Christa has a Bachelor’s degree in speech communication and lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Donna Pisani
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part B
Donna has over 20 years of experience in both Medicare Part A and Part B. She began her career in the claims processing and medial review departments with Medicare Part B and gradually transitioned into Medicare Part A supervising and managing Medicare Secondary Payer, inpatient/outpatient, and skilled nursing facility departments. Her responsibilities for both Medicare Part A and B included beneficiary and provider education and outreach.
Donna returned to Medicare Part B in 2001 and is currently a Provider Outreach and Education consultant at National Government Services in the Middletown, Connecticut office.
Michele Poulos
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part B
Michele has over 20 years of experience in the Medicare Part B Program. She started her career in the Claims Processing Department and worked in various departments thereafter. She has been with the Provider Outreach and Education Department for ten years, performing a variety of functions, with six of those years spent as a representative. Michele continues to educate providers and their billing staff in the Medicare Part B local and national coverage determinations, documentation requirements, and billing guidelines.
Sonja E. Racke RN CPC ; PCS, BSB/M
Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Team Lead
Sonja began with National Government Services in 2003 as the local provider education and training coordinator in the Medical Review and Education Department. She then moved to the Clinical Education Department of Provider Outreach in 2006.
Sonja is the team lead for the Midwest regions of National Government Services for the Part A intermediary, the Part B carrier, the regional home health and hospice Intermediary, and the DME MAC for Jurisdiction B. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1985 with an Associate’s degree in nursing, carries an active registered nursing license in Ohio, and is a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and a Physician’s Coding Specialist through the American College of Medical Coding Specialists.
Sonja has over 18 years of clinical experience in several major teaching hospitals in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. She is an adjunct faculty member for National College in the Medical and Health Careers Departments.
Sonja completed project management training through Indiana University/Purdue University-Indianapolis and the Project Management Institute. She holds a Bachelor's degree in business management through the University of Phoenix. She works out of the Cincinnati, Ohio office and is a member of Toastmasters International, the Southern Ohio Chapter of Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and is an active volunteer for the Cincinnati Cycle Club and Bicycle/Pedestrian Advocacy Council.
Sally Rosiello RN, BSN, CPC

Sally graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her BSN at the College of Mt. St. Joseph. She joined National Government Services after working in acute care hospitals for over 20 years. With six years of experience as a medical review analyst focusing on therapy reviews, Sally now provides education regarding outpatient therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health Medicare guidelines.
Marlena Schnatz RN, CPC
Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Consultant
Marlena graduated from Cincinnati State & Community College School of Nursing in 1995. She is experienced in oncology, medical surgical care, hospice, and skilled nursing facility care. She has five years of medical review experience, obtaining the rank of senior reviewer, and extensive experience in provider education. She currently is a Provider Outreach and Clinical Education consultant.

Linda is a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and has worked with Medicare Part B since 1984. For the past ten years she has educated the provider community on benefits integrity, local and national coverage determinations, and documentation guidelines. Linda was a member of the Benefits Integrity Team for seven years as well as an associate member for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Jennifer Tirotta
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Jennifer has many years of experience in the Medicare Program, starting in 1974 as a Blue Cross claims auditor and moving to a large group consultant role in 1981 and to a Medicare Part A provider representative position in 1985. She left in December 1996 and returned as a Medicare provider representative in 1997. In her current position as a Provider Outreach and Education consultant, Jennifer educates a variety of provider types on several different Medicare topics, including acute care hospital billing and preventive services.
Mimi Vier, CPC
Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Consultant
Mimi has worked for National Government Services since 2000 and has over nine years experience as a Medicare educator, both for internal departments and the provider community. She currently works in the Provider Outreach and Clinical Education Department with experience in recovery audit contractor, erythropoietin stimulating agents, end-stage renal disease, and diagnostic and laboratory services. Mimi is a Certified Professional Coder and a certified instructor/facilitator. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Carol J Walter, CPC-H
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Carol began her Medicare career in 1985 and has worked as a customer care representative and Congressional liaison. She also has served as a beneficiary outreach coordinator, Medicare Secondary Payer, Medicare Part B claims supervisor, and in Change Management and Provider Outreach and Education. During her ten-year tenure as beneficiary outreach coordinator she was awarded the HCFA Beneficiary Services Certificate of Merit for her service to New York state Medicare beneficiaries. She holds an Associate in Arts from the University of Kentucky Community College in Hopkinsville and a Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University in Library Science.
Carol received her Certified Professional Coder–Hospital accreditation in 2006 and is active in the Central New York AAPC chapter. Carol currently focuses on provider enrollment, 935 recoupment, remittance advice, end-stage renal disease, and quarterly provider updates education.
Teena Wigley
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Teena is a Provider Outreach and Education consultant and has worked in the educational field at National Government Services for ten years. She is responsible for training at newly Medicare-certified facilities and provides continuous education to existing facilities. She also handles presentations for association meetings, conferences, and teleconferences. Teena works with other training consultants in updating training materials to maintain current instructions from the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services and the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System. She has expertise in various billing types, including federally qualified health centers, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and business from Alverno College.
Pat Zachmann
Provider Outreach and Education Consultant Medicare Part A
Pat is a Medicare consultant in the Provider Outreach and Education Department. She has held various positions within the Medicare Part A and Part B programs throughout a Medicare career spanning 40 years. Pat currently is responsible for Medicare Program guidelines education for skilled nursing facilities, acute hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and end-stage renal disease facilities. Prior to joining the Provider Outreach and Education Department, Pat was a Medicare provider field representative for the state of Michigan and was responsible for providing onsite education for the Medicare facilities and their billing staff in the Medicare Part A billing guidelines.
